Istanbul (AsiaNews) - Le purghe lanciate dal presidente turco Recep Tayyip Erdogan all’indomani del (fallito) golpe dell’estate 2016 hanno colpito anche la scuola, portando alla chiusura di 2500 fra scuole, dormitori e istituti privati. A questo si aggiunge il licenziamento di almeno 30mila fra maestri, insegnanti e docenti perché sospettati o accusati di appartenere all’organizzazione che fa capo a Fetullah Gülen, ritenuto la mente del colpo di Stato.
A rivelare le cifre della scure governativa sugli istituti “non allineati” è Yusuf Tekin, sottosegretario al ministero turco dell’Istruzione, il quale rivendica il “completamento” delle purghe contro i simpatizzanti del predicatore islamico ex alleato del presidente e ora in esilio negli Stati Uniti. “La lotta contro Fetö - afferma, utilizzando un termine denigratorio per indicare il movimento di Gülen - è stata portata a termine” con successo.
In questi mesi sono state chiuse o confiscate 2500 scuole e sono stati cacciati almeno 30mila fra insegnanti, ricercatori e dipendenti pubblici del ministero. “Ora gli istituti - ha aggiunto Yusuf Tekin nel contesto di una visita nel distretto di Yusufeli, provincia di Artvin - sono davvero al servizio della nazione”. Egli ha concluso rivendicando la cancellazione totale di ogni riferimento al predicatore islamico e ai suoi simpatizzanti nei libri di testo e nei curriculum scolastici.
A poco più 20 mesi dal fallito golpe in Turchia, che nella notte fra il 14 e il 15 luglio 2016 ha visto vacillare, per alcune ore, il dominio del presidente Erdogan, prosegue dunque la campagna di repressione lanciata dalle autorità contro presunti complici o sostenitori. Fra le accuse, spesso pretestuose, l’affiliazione a gruppi “terroristi” curdi o l’appartenenza al movimento che fa capo al predicatore islamico Fethullah Gülen, in esilio in Pennsylvania (Stati Uniti).
Secondo Erdogan e i vertici di governo, egli sarebbe la mente del colpo di Stato in Turchia in cui sono morte 270 persone, migliaia i feriti. Lo scorso anno le autorità hanno fermato oltre 63mila persone (170mila circa dall’inizio delle purghe), quasi 50mila quelle colpite da mandato di arresto e più di 150mila quelle sospese o cacciate dal luogo di lavoro, pubblico o privato. Le indagini hanno coinvolto poco più di 400mila persone, circa 235mila i passaporti confiscati.
Solo a marzo più di 2100 cittadini turchi hanno subito il provvedimento di fermo giudiziario per presunti legami con il movimento di Gülen; di questi, oltre 600 sono stati sottoposti alla misura del carcere preventivo in attesa di processo.

Parigi (AsiaNews) È una confessione sorprendente! Il principe ereditario saudita, Mohammed Bin Salman, ha appena fatto un’ammissione inedita, riconoscendo ufficialmente il ruolo malefico del suo Paese, responsabile della diffusione dell’estremismo religioso nel mondo.
In visita dallo scorso 24 marzo negli Stati Uniti, l’attuale uomo forte di Riyadh afferma che il regno ha propagato il germe del wahhabismo su comando degli occidentali durante la Guerra fredda. L'obiettivo di questa richiesta degli alleati occidentali era di contrastare, all'epoca, l'Unione Sovietica (Urss) e impedire che “conquistasse il mondo musulmano o acquisisse influenza”.
In effetti, in un'intervista rilasciata al quotidiano americano The Washington Post, pubblicata il 25 marzo scorso, Mohammed bin Salman ha moltiplicato le confessioni. Oltre alla diffusione del wahhabismo, che è la matrice del terrorismo internazionale, il principe ereditario riconosce anche “i successivi errori dei governi sauditi che - dice - sono stati fuorviati su false piste”. “Ora è tempo che le cose tornino alla normalità”, ha dichiarato. Ma Mohammed bin Salman tenta anche di sdoganare il suo Paese dall’accusa di finanziare direttamente il terrorismo. “Tali finanziamenti al giorno d’oggi vengono in gran parte da istituzioni private di base nel regno, e non dal governo”, si è giustificato.
La domanda che mi pongo oggi è: dopo aver inquinato le menti di un gran numero di musulmani insegnando odio e terrorismo, come può ora convincerli che era tutto sbagliato, che quanto era stato inculcato loro era falso e in contraddizione con l’islam del Corano? Dubbi legittimi, soprattutto dopo la polemica scoppiata la scorsa settimana in Algeria. Uno dei rappresentanti di questo movimento, in questo caso Mohamed Ali Ferkous, è al centro di una seria controversia, in seguito alle sue osservazioni pericolose e gravi sul “sunnismo”. Secondo lui, solo il salafismo fa parte della sunna [consuetudine islamica, ndr], mentre “altre correnti non lo sono”. Istanbul (AsiaNews) - Le purghe lanciate dal presidente turco Recep Tayyip Erdogan all’indomani del (fallito) golpe dell’estate 2016 hanno colpito anche la scuola, portando alla chiusura di 2500 fra scuole, dormitori e istituti privati. A questo si aggiunge il licenziamento di almeno 30mila fra maestri, insegnanti e docenti perché sospettati o accusati di appartenere all’organizzazione che fa capo a Fetullah Gülen, ritenuto la mente del colpo di Stato.
A rivelare le cifre della scure governativa sugli istituti “non allineati” è Yusuf Tekin, sottosegretario al ministero turco dell’Istruzione, il quale rivendica il “completamento” delle purghe contro i simpatizzanti del predicatore islamico ex alleato del presidente e ora in esilio negli Stati Uniti. “La lotta contro Fetö - afferma, utilizzando un termine denigratorio per indicare il movimento di Gülen - è stata portata a termine” con successo.
In questi mesi sono state chiuse o confiscate 2500 scuole e sono stati cacciati almeno 30mila fra insegnanti, ricercatori e dipendenti pubblici del ministero. “Ora gli istituti - ha aggiunto Yusuf Tekin nel contesto di una visita nel distretto di Yusufeli, provincia di Artvin - sono davvero al servizio della nazione”. Egli ha concluso rivendicando la cancellazione totale di ogni riferimento al predicatore islamico e ai suoi simpatizzanti nei libri di testo e nei curriculum scolastici.
A poco più 20 mesi dal fallito golpe in Turchia, che nella notte fra il 14 e il 15 luglio 2016 ha visto vacillare, per alcune ore, il dominio del presidente Erdogan, prosegue dunque la campagna di repressione lanciata dalle autorità contro presunti complici o sostenitori. Fra le accuse, spesso pretestuose, l’affiliazione a gruppi “terroristi” curdi o l’appartenenza al movimento che fa capo al predicatore islamico Fethullah Gülen, in esilio in Pennsylvania (Stati Uniti).
Secondo Erdogan e i vertici di governo, egli sarebbe la mente del colpo di Stato in Turchia in cui sono morte 270 persone, migliaia i feriti. Lo scorso anno le autorità hanno fermato oltre 63mila persone (170mila circa dall’inizio delle purghe), quasi 50mila quelle colpite da mandato di arresto e più di 150mila quelle sospese o cacciate dal luogo di lavoro, pubblico o privato. Le indagini hanno coinvolto poco più di 400mila persone, circa 235mila i passaporti confiscati.

Dio Onnipotente rendici degni di cooperare alla promozione e nella difesa della Dignità Umana dei tanti che soffrono persecuzioni religiose in tutto il mondo e in particolare i nostri fratelli della comunità cristiana di Aleppo.
O grazioso Padre, infondi nei nostri cuori la luce immacolata della Tua Divina Sapienza e apri gli occhi della nostra mente affinché possiamo comprendere gli insegnamenti del tuo Vangelo. Costoro si travestono bene e fanno la parte del Cristiano devoto, ma dentro sono dei lupi rapaci che odiano il Signore Gesù Cristo.
